How there's no monthly bill
Wix, Squarespace, and WordPress run software every time someone visits your site. That software needs a server. The server is what you pay for.
We rebuild your site as plain files instead. Plain files don't need a server. We put them on Cloudflare Pages, which serves unlimited traffic for free and allows business sites. Nothing is running, so there's nothing to bill.

If it's this simple, why doesn't everyone do it?
Fair question, and the honest answer is not a clever trick. The hosting really is free. The cloning is the hard part, and almost nobody wants to do it.
Cloning by hand is slow work
There are tools that claim to download a website. What they produce is broken, bloated code with missing images, dead links, and layouts that fall apart on a phone. Doing it properly means rebuilding every page by hand and checking it at every screen size. That takes real hours, and hours cost money.
Monthly billing is a better business, for them
A builder that charges you $29 a month collects $1,740 over five years. We charge once and then we're finished. Ours is the worse business model on purpose, which is exactly why the big platforms will never offer it and most agencies would rather sell you a retainer.
It only works for the right sites
Plain files can't run a checkout or a login. For a brochure site that describes a business, that limitation costs you nothing, because nothing on the page needed software in the first place. For a real online store, it's the wrong tool, and we say so instead of taking the job.
So there's no catch to find. You're paying a person to do a few days of careful work, once, instead of renting software forever to do a job that doesn't need software.
Questions
Is the hosting really free?
Yes, for a normal small business site. We use Cloudflare Pages, which doesn't cap bandwidth and permits business sites on its free plan. We won't bill you monthly for hosting. What we can't do is promise another company's pricing never changes, so here's the honest version: if free static hosting ever went away, we'd move your files somewhere cheap and tell you first. You own the files either way.
Will the new site look different?
No. It's a one-to-one clone of the site you have now: same design, same words, same photos. The only difference you should notice is that it loads a lot faster, because there's no builder software running underneath it anymore.
Can you clone an online store?
Only if the payments happen off your website. Plain HTML files can't run a checkout, hold a cart, or process a card, because none of that works without software on a server. If your store sends buyers to an outside service to pay, like a Shopify, Square, Stripe, PayPal, or Etsy checkout, we can clone your site and keep those buttons working. If customers pay on your own pages, we're the wrong fit and we'll tell you that instead of taking your money.
What about booking and appointments?
Same rule. If your booking runs through an outside service, like Calendly, Square Appointments, or a scheduler with its own link or embed, it carries over to the clone and keeps working. If the scheduling software lives on your site and manages availability there, a static site can't do it, and we'll say so up front.
Who owns the website?
You do. You own the domain, the files, and the content. We hand you a copy of everything at launch. Nothing is locked to us, and you can take it to any other developer.
What happens when I cancel Wix or Squarespace?
Your old site comes down. That's why we build and launch the new one first, then you cancel. Keep the old plan running for one extra billing cycle as a safety net if it makes you more comfortable.
Can't I just export my site from Wix?
No. Wix has no site export. Squarespace exports text only, not your design. GoDaddy has no export tool. That's why this is a rebuild rather than a transfer. The details are in our guides for Wix, Squarespace, and GoDaddy.
Will I lose my Google rankings?
Not if the move is done right. We keep your page titles and content, and we point every old address at its new one so search engines follow. Rankings usually settle back within a few weeks.
Whose site can you rebuild?
Yours. We rebuild sites you own or have written permission to rebuild, and we confirm that before starting. We won't copy someone else's site.
How do I make changes later?
Send us the change and we do it, billed per edit. No monthly plan. Or edit the files yourself, or hand them to any developer. It's plain HTML.
Where are you located? Where do you work?
Everywhere. The whole process runs over email and a private preview link, so it works the same no matter where your business is.
