The intro price and the real price
GoDaddy's builder plans advertise from around $9.99 a month, which looks like the cheapest way onto the internet. The catch is in the renewal: GoDaddy leans on promotional first-term pricing and doesn't publish what the builder costs when it renews, which makes the real long-term number a surprise by design.

What GoDaddy's builder lets you take with you
GoDaddy is best known as a domain registrar, and domains transfer fine. The website builder is another story. There is no export tool of any kind. Here's the complete list of what you can retrieve:

Your pages, layout, text arrangement, and design exist only inside the builder. When the subscription stops, the site stops. The only way out with your site intact is a hand rebuild, which is what we do, one to one.

Because your domain is likely already at GoDaddy, this step is simple: we update its DNS to point at the new site, set up the security certificate, and add redirects so Google rankings carry over. You keep the domain at GoDaddy and cancel only the website builder plan.
GoDaddy questions
Do I have to move my domain away from GoDaddy?
No. The domain and the website builder are separate products. Your domain can stay registered at GoDaddy for as long as you like; we just point it at the new site. You cancel the builder subscription, not the domain.
Can I download my GoDaddy website first?
There's no tool for it. You can save the images you uploaded, and that's the extent of it. We clone from your live site, so you don't need to download anything for the rebuild.
What happens to my GoDaddy email address?
It keeps working. Email runs on your domain, not on the website builder plan. Whether you use GoDaddy's Microsoft 365 email or something else, canceling the builder doesn't touch it, and we're careful with the DNS records that email depends on when we make the switch.
My site uses GoDaddy's online appointments or store. Can you clone that?
Those are software features and don't carry over to a static site. If your site is mostly pages plus one of those features, tell us; sometimes a link to an outside booking or payment service covers it, and if it doesn't, we'll say so plainly instead of taking the job.
